No cold shock, ever again
Warm before the cup seats, every session. The one promise that lands on night one — you don't wait a month to notice it.
Winter pricing · ends when the cold does
Every pump asks your body to let down cold. Momdrops warms the whole cup first — 360°, right to the edge — so the session starts warm instead of starting with a flinch.

If you nodded at three or more of these, you're not a low producer with a discipline problem. You're pumping cold.
You brace before the cup touches you — every single time.
You sit and wait four minutes for a letdown that won't come on command.
Getting out of a warm bed to put on cold plastic is the worst part of the night.
You've bought a massager, gel pads and three cheap wearables looking for the fix.
Your pump room at work is freezing, and the door doesn't really lock.
You do the fridge hack and quietly curse it every time.
You're counting in millilitres and grieving the ones lost to a spill.
Somewhere in there you started thinking the problem was you.
Milk ejection is a reflex. Reflexes don’t fire on a schedule — they fire when the body isn’t braced.
Which is why the whole industry competing on how hard it pulls has been solving the wrong half of the session. How it works
Four stages, in one device, in this order — because the session is decided before the suction ever begins.
The whole contact surface warms — 360°, not a heated patch with a cold rim where it stops. Cold at the nipple causes the tissue to tighten; warmth is what tells your body it's safe to let go.
Five points pulse in rhythm around the flange while suction does its own work. This is the part that speaks to the reflex — the closest thing a machine does to what a baby does.
Up to 295 mmHg across four modes and nine levels. We put it at step three on purpose: everyone else's product starts here, and that's exactly why theirs feels like a fight.
A 24mm cup plus 17, 19 and 21mm inserts, and a ruler to find yours. Fit is the single biggest reason a wearable underperforms — most “weak suction” reviews are really bad-fit reviews.
What changes
Not a longer spec sheet. Six things you notice in the first week — starting on session one.
Warm before the cup seats, every session. The one promise that lands on night one — you don't wait a month to notice it.
Store your parts cold between sessions and let the pump warm itself back up. You stop paying for time with pain.
Fully in-bra. No tubes, no cord, no motor on your lap. Hold the baby, drive, take the call, finish the email.
Under 50 dB — about the level of a fridge humming. Nobody on the other side of the call can hear it.
2200 mAh — up to 10 sessions on suction alone, and still 6 with warmth and massage running. The number nobody else publishes honestly.
One press to release, five parts to rinse, snap back. Clear cups so you can see alignment instead of guessing at it.
In detail
The evidence, in full
In a trial published in the Journal of Human Lactation in 2011, researchers warmed the breast shield itself and compared it against one at room temperature. Mothers using the warmed shield removed their milk faster.
They also found no significant difference in total volume at fifteen minutes. We're telling you that part too, because you'll find it if you look — and because the version of this page that leaves it out is the version you shouldn't trust.
So we won’t tell you Momdrops makes more milk. It makes the start easier — and the start is the part that was making you dread the session.
That's the whole claim. Nothing about your supply, nothing about clearing anything, nothing described as clinically proven. If a brand in this category is promising you a percentage, ask them what it's footnoted to.

Side by side
Against the two things you're actually choosing between: the wall pump insurance gave you, and the wearables that heat only part of the cup.

From mothers using it
“The warmth made the first minute feel completely different. I stopped bracing for cold plastic and settled into pumping much faster.”
“Warm from the start, comfortable through the whole session.”
“The warmth and suction feel great, and the fit is secure. It is a little fuller under fitted tops than I expected, so I wear it with looser layers.”
“I use it during my early shift before the office gets busy. There are no tubes to arrange, the controls are easy to reach, and the warm setting makes starting at 6 a.m. much less abrupt.”
“The sizing inserts helped me find a comfortable seal without guessing, and nothing shifted when I walked around.”
“I can see the alignment through the clear cup, which saves me from restarting. Cleanup is straightforward, and the parts fit back together without a puzzle.”
What you get
Including the flange sizes most brands charge you for separately after you've already discovered yours is wrong.
Before you decide
For most people, yes — with the right flange size, which is why every size is in the box. But here's the honest version: a wearable is not a wall pump. Independent testing across this whole category shows wearables generally sit below a hospital-grade stationary pump on raw removal.
What one mother put better than we could: being consistent on a wearable beat being inconsistent on the best pump. Most people use a wearable as their second pump, at work and on the go, and keep the wall pump for home. That's a completely reasonable way to use this.
Supply responds to how often and how well milk is removed, not to the brand of pump. If a wearable lets you keep sessions you'd otherwise skip, that generally works in your favour. If it replaces sessions that were emptying you better, that can go the other way.
Get your flange size right, don't cut sessions short, and watch your own numbers for the first week. If it isn't working for your body, send it back — that's exactly what the 60 nights are for.
The whole contact surface — 360°, right to the edge. This is the specific thing we built against: partial-heat pumps warm a patch, and you feel exactly where the warm part stops.
2200 mAh, up to 10 sessions on suction alone and up to 6 with warmth and massage running.
We publish the second number because it's the one that matters and the one the category tends to bury. Warming costs battery — physics, not a defect. Six sessions covers a workday plus the drive.
Three settings: 99°F, 102°F and 106°F. 106°F is a hard ceiling — the device will not exceed it, which is a deliberate margin below the temperature at which skin injury begins. Warmth also runs on a timed cycle rather than staying on indefinitely.
If your skin is broken or cracked, start at 99°F or leave the warmth off until it's healed.
The silicone flange, cups, valves and diaphragms are dishwasher-safe on the top rack and safe in a steam sterilizer. The motor unit is not — wipe it with a damp cloth, and never submerge it or microwave it.
Nobody else's page answers this and everybody asks it, so: the expensive part never goes in water.
Yes — and this is the point of the whole product. Store your assembled parts cold between sessions and let the pump warm itself back up before the first pull. You keep the hour the hack saves you and lose the part that makes you flinch.
Use the ruler in the box before your first session. Measure your nipple diameter only — not the areola — and add 2 to 3mm. Most people land on 21 or 24mm.
If you get it wrong, tell us and we'll send another size free, once, no questions. Fit is the single biggest cause of disappointing output in this whole category, and we'd rather fix it than take a return.
Not in normal movement — walking, sitting, driving, reaching. Like every wearable on the market, bending sharply forward past about 45 degrees can leak. Nobody has fully solved this yet, and any brand telling you they have is overselling it.
Correct flange size and a snug bra do most of the work.
Under 50 dB — roughly a refrigerator humming. Quiet on a video call with your mic live; audible in a completely silent room if someone is next to you. Warmth and massage add a little.
No. If your breast is red, swollen, hot or painful, don't warm it.
Current clinical guidance for the mastitis spectrum is ice, not heat — the older advice has been revised. We'd rather tell you that than sell you a feature. Momdrops' warmth is for a comfortable start on a healthy breast. If you think you have mastitis, speak to an IBCLC or your provider.
No. Warmth and massage switch on and off independently, so you can pump completely cold if you prefer. A real minority of people find cold actually starts their letdown — if that's you, we're not going to argue with your body.
Email us within 60 nights of delivery. We send a prepaid label. You post it back and we refund you — opened, used, washed, whatever state it's in. We pay return shipping. Three steps, no restocking fee, no interrogation.
Every other brand in this category requires an unopened box, on a product whose entire job is to fit your body.
Yes — breast pumps are categorically eligible, so your HSA or FSA card works at checkout with no letter of medical necessity.
One caution: if you have a pacemaker, an implanted electronic device or a breast implant, check with your provider before using the warming function.
A breast pump is a fit product. You cannot possibly know whether it works for your body from the outside of a sealed carton — so we don't ask you to.
No restocking fee. No interrogation. Every other brand in this category will only take it back if the box was never opened.
